Dr. Brandilyn Binstock

Brandilyn Binstock, ND

Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Brandilyn Binstock is committed to finding clinical answers for her patients and being up-to-date on the most effective treatments. After years working in conventional healthcare, she was disappointed how often people with chronic conditions were only given suppressive treatments, with no options for disease reversal. She uses a functional medicine approach to help her patients stabilize and heal challenging conditions, so they may live a fuller, more active life.

Before Dr. Binstock became a naturopathic physician, she worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA), emergency medical technician (EMT) and in the hospital cardiology unit monitoring heart rhythms. After completing her undergraduate degrees in biology/pre-medicine and philosophy at the University of North Dakota, Dr. Binstock moved to the Pacific Northwest to complete the four-year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at Bastyr University. She is the newest primary care physician to join Natural Medicine of Seattle, and is proud to continue serving as a member of the professional teaching staff at Bastyr University’s physical medicine department.

Dr. Binstock’s special interests include autoimmune diseases, gastrointestinal conditions and cardiometabolic disorders.

She has completed advanced functional medicine training in these topics, and is an active member of The Institute for Functional Medicine. She is currently working towards her functional medicine certification through the IFM. She also has specialized training in physical medicine, including joint and spinal manipulation, activator method and fascial therapy, among others. Dr. Binstock is a certified Bowen fascial therapist.

Dr. Binstock’s treatment plans strategically combine different techniques, including diet and lifestyle modifications, physical medicine, botanical medicine, nutritional supplements, pharmaceuticals and injection and IV therapy to help patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

When she is not practicing medicine, teaching, researching and attending medical conferences, Dr. Binstock spends time with her partner and their two kittens. They love spending Sundays cooking healthy foods, reading and relaxing.
