Rachelle Forsberg, ND, LAc

ND and Acupuncturist

Dr. Forsberg is inspired by the tenets of naturopathic medicine in every clinical encounter. She believes in bestowing full confidence in the body's innate propensity to heal itself, and in the importance of always utilizing the lowest force of intervention possible.

In her practice, she utilizes naturopathy, acupuncture, and IV therapy.

Dr. Forsberg studied naturopathic medicine and traditional Chinese medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington and has been in private practice since 2010. She is originally from Colorado, but she and her husband have now called the Pacific Northwest their home for over ten years.

Spending several years of her childhood on her family's farm profoundly shaped Dr. Forsberg's desire to pursue her studies in natural medicine. She had the opportunity to spend many hours outside, interacting with nature on a very personal level - learning the art of crop-growing, irrigation, and caring for animals.

There she established a great connection with nature.

This was her first inkling of what is meant by the foundational naturopathic principle: vis medicatrix naturae - "the healing power of nature."

In her undergraduate education, Dr. Forsberg studied biological science and neuroanatomy.  During that time, she worked in a molecular biology lab and was published for her discoveries in crustacean hormone regulation pathways.

Dr. Forsberg has found that blending her knowledge of biomedicine, naturopathic medicine, and Chinese medicine has created an extraordinary lens through which she can uniquely evaluate and assist each of her patients.

Dr. Forsberg is passionate about providing alternative healthcare to all populations and enjoys dedicating time volunteering her services through local homeless shelters in the Seattle area.  In their free time, Dr. Forsberg and her husband, Jev, enjoy exploring new hiking trails with their dog, Calvin.  Dr. Forsberg also enjoys spending time with friends and family and can always be persuaded to try a new local restaurant, pub, or eatery of any kind!
