Alisha Ghajar, ND

Naturopathic Doctor

Specialties Include:
Gastrointestinal Health, Environmental Medicine, Metabolic Conditions, Nutrition

Dr. Alisha Ghajar firmly believes anyone can improve their health, at any time in life. Her approach always meets patients where they are at, in a collaborative manner with their goals in mind.

Dr. Ghajar’s journey to naturopathic medicine began with an interest in nutrition, after growing up in Texas where several family members succumbed to obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, yet failed to improve with standard medical care. She wanted to help people live healthier lives through diet and lifestyle changes; a goal that moved her to Fort Collins, Colorado. Here she completed a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Nutrition at Colorado State University. Dr. Ghajar learned about naturopathic medicine while in Colorado, and was excited to provide more support to her patients, with a bigger toolbox, moving her once more across the country to attend Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.

Her specialties include primary care, preventative medicine, gastrointestinal health, and metabolic conditions. Her treatment interests include, but are not limited to, IBS, IBD, SIBO, obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Ghajar leans heavily on her advanced nutrition training and lifestyle coaching background to help her patients reach their personal goals, as well as nutrient injections, botanical medicine, and visceral manipulation of the digestive organs. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Ghajar can be found hiking, running, weight lifting and biking. She is also an avid cook with her husband, and is always planning their next travel adventure.

“Prior to NMS, I tried at least 10 different doctors and practices in the area and found the same things:

No one ever ordered comprehensive labs, a few found issues but told me they couldn’t do anything to help me, some said I had to be lying, and I was always given some sort of prescription medication meant to treat a condition I didn’t have as a bandaid.

Fast forward to finding natural medicine… I have worked with almost every doctor here in the last 2.5 years and everyone has been kind, incredibly knowledgeable, dedicated to their patients, and goes above and beyond.”
