Payton Robertson, ND
Naturopathic Physician
Specialties Include:
Men’s Health, Cardiovascular and Metabolic Conditions, Physical Medicine
Dr. Robertson was born and raised in rural Montana. His interest in medicine started early. Growing up, many people he knew of suffered or passed due to heart disease. His curiosity as to why led him on a path to become a general practitioner. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. During this time, he shadowed many doctors and dove deep into expanding his education to figure out what type of provider he could become to make a difference.
He felt that something was missing on the conventional medical path. It was not until his struggle to recover from a soccer injury that he saw his first Naturopathic Doctor as a patient. That experience changed his path as he learned about naturopathic medicine’s philosophy and the many different modalities for helping people identify and treat the root cause of their illness. His greatest passion is to address and catch disease before it tipped into mortality. This lead him to study at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.
Special areas of interest include helping patients navigate and reach their health potential. Beyond general naturopathic care, his clinical interests are in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, men’s health, joint pain and sports injuries. He also finds physical medicine modalities such as spinal manipulation, soft tissue manipulation, therapeutic exercise and Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT) to be vital tools to address pain, common obstacle to cure.
In his personal life he enjoys spending time with his partner, playing soccer, practicing piano the cajon, snowboarding, exercising and going on motorcycle trips on his Yamaha.
“After multiple trips to the er spanning a few years, I finally feel heard. The staff here listened to my input and asked far more questions than I had ever been asked. I felt comfortable throughout my visit and feel every concern I had was addressed. I’ll be coming here from now on.”
