Dr. Grace Chang is passionate in providing patient-centered, integrative healthcare. Trained in both Western and Eastern medicine, she believes in empowering her patients to thrive by establishing back-to-basics foundations of health.

Born and raised in sunny California, Dr. Chang spent her childhood running around her parent’s restaurant. Family ailments were always first addressed with food and herbs. At an early age, Dr. Chang discovered her father’s medical condition was not being treated due to a language barrier with his doctor. Her involvement with translating and strengthening the patient-doctor relationship led her pursuit to become a physician.

Dr. Chang received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Biology at the University of California, Davis. Diving further into holistic internal medicine, she completed her Naturopathic medical training and Masters in Acupuncture and East Asian Herbal Medicine at Bastyr University. She has since completed a 2-year CNME accredited residency here at NMS.

Dr. Chang’s practice blends evidence-based medicine with natural modalities. Her clinical interests include: allergies, skin conditions, hormone imbalances, digestive concerns, menstrual disorders and musculoskeletal pain relief. She has had additional training in PRP injection therapies for regenerative aesthetics and cosmetic acupuncture.

Dr. Chang is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and the WANP.

Outside of medicine, you can find Dr. Chang spending time with her husband, baby girl, and doting over her rabbit, Chibi.

“I have worked very closely with Dr. Grace Chang and Dr. Kara Menzer and I adore both of them and am beyond grateful for their care, especially recently when they took care of issues during my pregnancy and postpartum that the hospital ignored.

I love that this office listens to patients. The appointments give you time with the doctor, not a quick 5-10 minute check-in. They provide enough time to provide depth to the issues you are dealing with.”
