IV Nutrient Therapy
Infusion Therapies
We carefully and safely tailor our nutritional infusions to meet your individual needs. Infusion therapies have a long history of use to treat many different illnesses and conditions.
Iron Infusion
Iron infusions are given with a medically documented deficiency of iron, as in iron deficiency anemia. Iron deficiency anemia is also commonly occurring in other disorders such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, menstrual irregularities and many other forms of chronic disease.
Chelation Infusion
Accumulation of heavy metals can have a detrimental effect on many physiologic functions of the body. After careful screening and assessment of heavy metal levels in the body we use a variety of agents to safely remove them from your tissues.
Immune Infusion
This specific formula is designed to activate your immune system to help the body deal with acute or chronic illness. Upper respiratory infections, the flu, and other chronic infections are often treated with immune infusions.
Nutritional infusions
Medically documented nutritional deficiencies are treated with a specially formulated nutritional infusion to meet your specific needs. We have a variety of high quality nutrient infusions we can use to treat your specific needs.
Frequently Asked Questions about Infusion Therapy
- What about the cost of an IV?
Intravenous therapy is a highly specialized area of medicine. IV equipment, materials and ingredients are expensive. Our IV prices are not profit driven; we are committed to offering treatments at affordable prices. Larger clinics and hospitals offer these services at costs upwards of $1,000 per treatment. - How many IV treatments do I need?
The doctor will determine the number of treatments. This will depend on your lab results and how your body responds to the treatment. - How long does a treatment take?
IV Treatments can take anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the type of treatment. - How will I feel during the IV Treatment?
The majority of treatments do not cause negative side effects. Occasionally, a patient may feel nauseated for a short time. We recommend patients drink plenty of fluids and have some food before the treatment.
“I’ve been a patient of Dr. Procopio for around 5 years now and she has totally changed my life!! Thanks to her, I’ve never felt healthier or more energetic. She really listens and responds to all concerns in the most genuine way and I never feel like she’s distracted or rushing to get to the next patient. She’s incredibly bright and passionate about her work and interpersonally she’s a total peach.
We’ve done a lot of testing and work together that I never really thought I’d have access to in my life. She analyzed my raw data from DNA testing, we got to the bottom of hidden allergy issues, and we do regular micronutrient shots and IVs. I also have tricky veins and she is pretty much the only person I trust to find them. With her, nothing seems intimidating or overwhelming.”
