Dr. Ikeda uses a patient-centered approach by revealing her patients’ root needs for wellness. Dr. Ikeda is often inspired by her patients, especially the chronically ill who never give up their journey to getting healthy. She feels grateful and privileged to guide people through their path to recovery.
At Natural Medicine of Seattle, Dr. Ikeda specializes in Intravenous Micronutrient Therapy (IVMT), and is one of the only naturopathic clinicians providing IVMT and blood draw services for the pediatric population in Seattle, WA. She was a part of the first class at Bastyr University to receive post-graduate training in IVMT, and is currently an instructor in the Advanced IV Therapy courses at her alma mater, as well as a supervising clinician for the IVMT shift at Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Washington.
Dr. Ikeda practices as an environmental medicine specialist as well as a general family physician. Her particular clinical interests include but are not limited to: chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, mercury/lead toxicity, detox, insomnia, diabetes, depression, anxiety, and thyroid abnormalities.
Dr. Margie Ikeda was born in Japan and moved to the US in 1982. She is fluent in both Japanese and English, and is honored to serve the Japanese community. In addition to her naturopathic medical practice she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as being a full-time mother.
