Dr. Ian McLogan was voted Seattle Met Top Doctor of 2018!
Dr. Ian McLogan (he/him) believes in helping his patients discover their own path to health, whatever that looks like.
Treatment by Dr. Ian focuses on providing exceptional care to people, while being their advocate in the process. He helps his patients learn about themselves and the care they need and deserve.
As a result, he believes in treating the root cause of illness, not just the symptoms. Dr. Ian addresses the whole person and focuses on creating an open dialogue between patient and doctor. He believes in educating patients about their health and wellness for a sustainable change.
Prior to moving to Washington to pursue his medical degree from Bastyr University, he graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with a Bachelors of Science in psychology. And even then, he was helping people feel better by working as a Licensed Massage Practitioner, and finds that hands-on approach invaluable in his current practice.
It was during this time that he became very interested in mind-body medicine and different forms of bodywork as means of healing after struggling with his own health challenge. His struggle inspired him to help others with the same natural treatment that helped him, and become a Doctor of Naturopathic medicine.
Now Dr. Ian helps people find their own sustainable change to feeling better, helping them find their path to wellness.
His specific areas of interest beyond natural primary care include Intravenous Micronutrient Therapy (IVMT), men’s health, digestive issues, chronic disease management, counseling and physical medicine focusing on pain management. He has also had additional training in physical medicine modalities of naturopathic manipulation, cranial-sacral therapy, and visceral manipulation.
In his personal life, he enjoys spending time with his partner and loved ones, practicing yoga and meditation, rock climbing, skiing, traveling and exploring the mountain ranges in Washington.
“I have had the best experience with Natural Medicine of Seattle with Dr.McLogan and Dr.Ikeda. They took the time to get to know me and really dive deeply into how best to promote my healing and overall health. On top of that, the staff is AMAZING! I had an unexpected bill from a lab, and once I brought this to their attention they handled straightening everything out and even got me a refund for an amount I had paid previously.
Thank you!”
