Dr. Ikeda uses a patient-centered approach by revealing her patients’ root needs for wellness. Dr. Ikeda is often inspired by her patients, especially the chronically ill who never give up their journey to getting healthy. She feels grateful and privileged to guide people through their path to recovery.
As a general family physician, Dr. Ikeda also specializes in environmental medicine, women’s health, and hormonal balance, with particular expertise in PCOS, PMS/PMDD, menopause, perimenopause, and premature ovarian failure (POF).
Her clinical interests include chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, mercury and lead toxicity, insomnia, diabetes, depression, anxiety, and thyroid abnormalities. By integrating natural and conventional approaches, Dr. Ikeda tailors treatments to each individual’s unique needs.
Born in Japan and fluent in both Japanese and English, Dr. Ikeda is honored to serve Seattle’s Japanese community. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing martial arts, and being a full-time mother.
