Dr. Kara Menzer loves being a family medicine doctor and seeing patients of all ages, from newborns to adults!

Dr. Menzer is a survivor of childhood cancer and from this experience learned the value of holistic, integrative care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Psychology from UC Davis and her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. Dr. Menzer takes a personalized patient-centered approach, providing each patient with a variety of treatment options to ensure the plan is tailored to each individual’s needs. 

Dr. Menzer has advanced specialty training in women’s health, gastrointestinal health, pediatrics, eating disorders, allergies, heavy metal toxicity and integrative cancer care. 

Dr. Menzer currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP). She is also adjunct faculty at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM) where she teaches Western Clinical Medicine. 

In her spare time, Dr. Menzer can be found swing dancing, volunteering for her favorite non-profit The Goodtimes Project or playing outside with her husband, son and American Eskimo direwolf. 

* Please note: Dr. Menzer only sees full-term newborns (37+ weeks). If your newborn was born preterm or has significant health challenges, Dr. Menzer is happy to refer you to one of several of her favorite Pediatricians.
